Yanks Shut Out Philly in Rout

Joba Chamberlain and Kei Igawa each pitched 3 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out three.

Brian Bruney, Johnathan Albaladejo and David Robertson each pitched scoreless innings.

Nick Swisher led the Yankees with 3 hits and 3 RBI.

Cody Ransom, Shelly Duncan and Xavier Nady each had 2 hits apeice.

Good to see the Yanks bring out the bats today, also great to see Joba continue to improve.

Another note, Kei Igawa continued his hot spring and still hasnt allowed a run, much to the surprise of many.

The Yankees will host the Pirates on Tuesday at Steinbrenner Field, facing off in a 7:15 p.m. start. Left-hander CC Sabathia will make his third start, with right-hander Virgil Vasquez on the mound for Pittsburgh. The game will be televised on MLB.TV.
